Day 1 

Arrival in Kochi – Munnar (135 Kms / 4 hrs)

Arrive Kochi & proceed on a picturesque drive through the countryside of Munnar - one of the most popular hill stations in southern India known for its sprawling tea & coffee plantations. Enroute you can enjoy the scenic views of hill stations with striking greenery, small waterfalls & tea plantations. On arrival check in at Hotel. Proceed to visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park) & Munnar Town. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 2 

Munnar - Local Sightseeing

Today morning after Breakfast visit Mattupetty Dam, a storage concrete gravity dam. The dam was constructed under the Pallivasal Hydro-electric project in the late 1940s, for the purpose of water conservation and power generation. Now the dam is a vital source of electricity generation in Munnar and also a haven for many wild animals and birds due to its constant water availability, Echo Point a scenic spot on a reservoir featuring an echo phenomenon. Lastly choose from visiting either Tea Museum gives a first hand knowledge about tea processing and the operations that go into the making of black tea. The aim of the Tea Museum is to depict the growth of this more-than-a-century-old tea plantation district OR Eravikulam National Park known for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 3 

Munnar - Thekkady (110 Kms / 3.5 hrs)

Today after early Breakfast get transferred to Periyar - lying at an altitude of 700-1900 m above sea level has a cool and comfortable climate & it’s considered to be pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations, it is also known for its wide variety of Spices. On arrival check-in at Hotel, later enjoy the Boat Ride (On Own) at Periyar Lake where you get a chance to see the herd of elephants that descend down to the lake, other intriguing and rare species of animals dwelling in the sanctuary include the Sambar Deer, Nilgiri  Tahr, Wild Pigs, Nilgiri Langur, the highly endangered Lion-Tailed Macaque, Small Travancore Flying Squirrel, Stripe-Necked Mongoose, Nilgiri Marten and if lucky even a Tiger & proceed for spice plantations visit. Stay overnight at Thekkady.

Day 4 

Thekkady – Alleppey (140 Kms / 4 hrs)

Today after early Breakfast get transferred to Alleppey. Sightseeing through backwaters and explore the picturesque canals and lagoons. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of East by travellers from across the world, this backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoy a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Stay overnight at Alleppey.

Day 5 

Alleppey - Kovalam (160 Kms / 5 hrs)

Today after Breakfast check out from hotel and depart for Kovalam by road. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Kovalam Beach lies stretched out on the Malabar Coast, along the shoreline of a small town called Kovalam. Enjoy local sightseeing, visit Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed) followed by visit to Napier Museum and the Srichithra Art Gallery and Zoo in Trivandrum. (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple). Stay overnight at Kovalam.

Day 6 

Kovalam - Kanyakumari Excursion (90 Kms / 2 hrs)

Today after Breakfast proceed for excursion of Kanyakumari - An inspiring spiritual joint of India & also meeting point of three major sea (Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal); En route visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace (Palace of Marthanda Varma - Padmanabhapuram Palace is located close to the town of Thuckalay in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu). Reach Kanyakumari and visit Vivekananda Memorial rock by boat (on direct payment basis), Statue of Thiruvalloor, Gandhi Mandapam and temple of Goddess Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam and stay overnight.

  • Per person cost is calculated on the basis of Minimum 04 adults travelling together on Twin sharing basis.
  • Extra adult is the 3rd person who shares the same double room and is provided with an extra bed or rollaway mattress.

1. Gavi Forest
The place is rich in flora and fauna. There are hills and valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grasslands, sholas, cascading waterfalls and cardamom plantations. Endangered species including the Nilgiri Tahr and Lion-Tailed Macaque are often sighted at the outskirts of Gavi. With more than 260 species of birds including the Great Pied Hornbill, Woodpecker and Kingfishers, Gavi is literally a paradise for birdwatchers.

Some of the breathtaking viewpoints at Gavi like the Valley View offer a spectacular view of the deep ravine and forest below. From Kochu Pampa, a point near Green Mansion eco-lodge, one can track the grazing Nilgiri Tahrs.

The famous pilgrim destination, Sabarimala is a short trek from Gavi. For those interested in observing nocturnal wildlife, night safaris to Kullur, Gavi  Pullumedu, Kochu Pampa and Pachakanam provide ample opportunities for wildlife viewing.

2. Mangala Devi Temple
It is situated about 18 km from Thekkady at an altitude of 1341 m above sea level. It is surrounded by lush greenery and is closed throughout the year except during the Chitra Pournami festival. At other times tourists can still visit it by getting a special letter from the forest ranger. The view from the temple premises is spectacular and one can see part of Eastern Ghats and some villages from adjacent state of Tamil Nadu.

3. Green Park Ayurvedic & Spices Plantation
Green Park Ayurvedic & Spices Plantation is an ecological park founded to grow medicinal herbs and spices and disseminate the knowledge of growing them with the help of advanced agricultural techniques. 4. Periyar Lake
Tucked in the heart of the jungle, Thekkady or Periyar Lake is famous for its wide varieties of wildlife. You can also take a boat ride in the reservoir that provides water to the forest.
Periyar Tiger Reserve offers 1.5 hrs boating trips at the lake near the sanctuary. A herd of elephants or a group of sambar deer are common sights near the lake. You may be able to spot herds of Gaur and wild boars in the grasslands adjacent to the shores. Arrival in Kochi – Munnar (135 Kms / 4 hrs)

Arrive Kochi & proceed on a picturesque drive through the countryside of Munnar - one of the most popular hill stations in southern India known for its sprawling tea & coffee plantations. Enroute you can enjoy the scenic views of hill stations with striking greenery, small waterfalls & tea plantations. On arrival check in at Hotel. Proceed to visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park) & Munnar Town. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 2 

Munnar - Local Sightseeing

Today morning after Breakfast visit Mattupetty Dam, a storage concrete gravity dam. The dam was constructed under the Pallivasal Hydro-electric project in the late 1940s, for the purpose of water conservation and power generation. Now the dam is a vital source of electricity generation in Munnar and also a haven for many wild animals and birds due to its constant water availability, Echo Point a scenic spot on a reservoir featuring an echo phenomenon. Lastly choose from visiting either Tea Museum gives a first hand knowledge about tea processing and the operations that go into the making of black tea. The aim of the Tea Museum is to depict the growth of this more-than-a-century-old tea plantation district OR Eravikulam National Park known for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 3 

Munnar - Thekkady (110 Kms / 3.5 hrs)

Today after early Breakfast get transferred to Periyar - lying at an altitude of 700-1900 m above sea level has a cool and comfortable climate & it’s considered to be pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations, it is also known for its wide variety of Spices. On arrival check-in at Hotel, later enjoy the Boat Ride (On Own) at Periyar Lake where you get a chance to see the herd of elephants that descend down to the lake, other intriguing and rare species of animals dwelling in the sanctuary include the Sambar Deer, Nilgiri  Tahr, Wild Pigs, Nilgiri Langur, the highly endangered Lion-Tailed Macaque, Small Travancore Flying Squirrel, Stripe-Necked Mongoose, Nilgiri Marten and if lucky even a Tiger & proceed for spice plantations visit. Day 4 

Thekkady – Alleppey (140 Kms / 4 hrs)

Today after early Breakfast get transferred to Alleppey. Sightseeing through backwaters and explore the picturesque canals and lagoons. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of East by travellers from across the world, this backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoy a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Stay overnight at Alleppey.

Day 5 

Alleppey - Kovalam (160 Kms / 5 hrs)

Today after Breakfast check out from hotel and depart for Kovalam by road. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Kovalam Beach lies stretched out on the Malabar Coast, along the shoreline of a small town called Kovalam. Enjoy local sightseeing, visit Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed) followed by visit to Napier Museum and the Srichithra Art Gallery and Zoo in Trivandrum. (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple). Stay overnight at Kovalam.

Day 6 

Kovalam - Kanyakumari Excursion (90 Kms / 2 hrs)

Today after Breakfast proceed for excursion of Kanyakumari - An inspiring spiritual joint of India & also meeting point of three major sea (Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal); En route visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace (Palace of Marthanda Varma - Padmanabhapuram Palace is located close to the town of Thuckalay in Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu). Reach Kanyakumari and visit Vivekananda Memorial rock by boat (on direct payment basis), Statue of Thiruvalloor, Gandhi Mandapam and temple of Goddess Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam and stay overnight.

  • Per person cost is calculated on the basis of Minimum 04 adults travelling together on Twin sharing basis.
  • Extra adult is the 3rd person who shares the same double room and is provided with an extra bed or rollaway mattress.

1. Gavi Forest
The place is rich in flora and fauna. There are hills and valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grasslands, sholas, cascading waterfalls and cardamom plantations. Endangered species including the Nilgiri Tahr and Lion-Tailed Macaque are often sighted at the outskirts of Gavi. With more than 260 species of birds including the Great Pied Hornbill, Woodpecker and Kingfishers, Gavi is literally a paradise for birdwatchers.

Some of the breathtaking viewpoints at Gavi like the Valley View offer a spectacular view of the deep ravine and forest below. From Kochu Pampa, a point near Green Mansion eco-lodge, one can track the grazing Nilgiri Tahrs.

The famous pilgrim destination, Sabarimala is a short trek from Gavi. For those interested in observing nocturnal wildlife, night safaris to Kullur, Gavi  Pullumedu, Kochu Pampa and Pachakanam provide ample opportunities for wildlife viewing.

2. Mangala Devi Temple
It is situated about 18 km from Thekkady at an altitude of 1341 m above sea level. It is surrounded by lush greenery and is closed throughout the year except during the Chitra Pournami festival. At other times tourists can still visit it by getting a special letter from the forest ranger. The view from the temple premises is spectacular and one can see part of Eastern Ghats and some villages from adjacent state of Tamil Nadu.

3. Green Park Ayurvedic & Spices Plantation

4. Periyar Lake
Tucked in the heart of the jungle, Thekkady or Periyar Lake is famous for its wide varieties of wildlife. You can also take a boat ride in the reservoir that provides water to the forest.
Periyar Tiger Reserve offers 1.5 hrs boating trips at the lake near the sanctuary. A herd of elephants or a group of sambar deer are common sights near the lake. You may be able to spot herds of Gaur and wild boars in the grasslands adjacent to the shores. A variety of avian fauna such as darters, egrets and kingfishers can be seen resting on dead tree trunks that stick out over the lake. During your boat ride, there is also a high probability of observing the antics of the Smooth Indian Otter. 

5. Periyar Tiger Reserve
The Periyar Tiger Trail is a protection-oriented trekking programme. The trek route passes through hills and valleys. In the Tiger Trail, nature lovers are in the hands of a team of guides hardy and dependable who know the forest and its ways intimately.
